I am (Dr.) Khalid ul Rehman Hakeem, currently working as Fellow Researcher (Associate Prof. Research) at the Faculty of Forestry, Universiti Putra Malaysia (www.upm.edu.my ), Serdang-43400, Selangor, Malaysia and Visiting Scientist at Fatih University, Istanbul, Turkey.
I have been awarded the PhD degree (Botany) from the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Jamia Hamdard (www.jamiahamdard.edu), New Delhi, India in 2011. The title of my Ph.D. thesis was “Proteomics and nanobiotechnological approach for the improvement of nitrogen use efficiency in rice”.
I have more than Nine (09) years of teaching/research experience in Plant Eco-Physiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics as well as Environmental sciences at both undergraduate as well as post graduate levels.
Presently I am engaged in studying the plant processes at Eco-physiological as well as Proteomic levels.
My Fields of Specialization:
Plant stress Physiology , Biochemistry, Biotechnology & Molecular biology; Genomic & Proteomic analysis; Pollution research; Environmental & Ecological studies.
